The great thing about Luxembourg is that it’s small, so it’s easy to navigate, and all the attractions are in the same kind of area. Make sure you head over to the ruins of the ancient castle in the Old Town and uncover one of the great secrets of Luxembourg. Below where the 10th Century castle stood, there is 17 kilometers of tunnels carved into the rock, that was used for things like defense and storage. Known as Casemates du Bock, the tunnels were opened to the public in the 1930s, and are well worth the visit. These are one of the fabulous tourist attractions in Luxembourg, and the open ends offer a sensational view of the city, as well as the valley below.

There are so many excellent regions, and Luxembourg produces highly respected white and rose wines. Visit ‘Little Switzerland’
There’s an area of Luxembourg known as Little Switzerland, and it’s one of the most beautiful areas of the country. You’ll be able to go walking across canyons and soaking up some of the wonderful nature on show in Luxembourg. You can walk along the banks of the river, and visit the Predigtstuhl, one of the famous rock formations here. This is a wonderful opportunity to experience some of the great beauty off Luxembourg, as well as getting out and about and being healthy.
